The Toilet Board Coalition (TBC) works with businesses, investors and governments to scale market based solutions to universal access to sanitation while strengthening efforts around climate change, biodiversity, public health and gender equity.
Redesign 2022
With a new team on board, they wanted to refresh the website with a cleaner look and streamline the content even further. They hired me to assist them with this redesign, training the team along the way so they could do some of the work themselves.
In many cases, they created the first draft of the page templates, trying out different designs. Then I would refine the design, in some cases showing them more efficient ways to accomplish the same result. I also fixed issues related to mobile responsiveness. At all steps along the way, I included training to make the team even more self-sufficient after the project.

Redesign 2020
When TBC first contacted me, they wanted to rebuild the website on a more user-friendly platform so their non-technical team could more easily update the website. The old website had been hard-coded, with their team only having access to edit content like blog posts and member profiles. During this process, they also wanted to redesign their website for a more modern look & feel.
We spent a couple months pairing down and reorganizing the existing content to streamline their messaging and focus on key calls to actions. We started with a series of wireframes to refine the structure and user flow, then moved onto design and mockups.
I built the new website on WordPress with the visual editor Elementor, creating all new pages and templates to house their edited content and large collection of research publications, case studies, and blog posts.
