Professional Women’s Group Zurich is an international career network for women in Zurich founded in 1983. Besides promoting their organization, their website managed membership and event registration. However, it was difficult to use and wasn’t meeting their needs. Plus every time they needed even a small change, like changing an image, they had to pay high fees to the programmers hosting the website.
As part of a branding refresh with Brandspace, they asked me to redesign the website and find an alternate solution for the membership and event features. Although I usually prefer WordPress, in this case, Wix was a good solution for PWG Zurich, as it has built-in membership and event features that are easy to use with minimal training.
I rebuilt the website on Wix, ported over their member database, and set up the membership and event registration features. Now their team can manage all aspects of their club directly without incurring high maintenance fees.
